Concerned somebody might try to steal his tree stump, Jay tied it to something nobody would go near.
While few people would want to steal this Soviet-era minicar, fewer still would even be able to penetrate its robust and complex security system. Unless they had a heavy set of scissors. Give us your best caption to this impenetrable defense, in comments.

It wasn’t the nuclear bombs raining down that had children playing “Duck & Cover” under their desks, it was the fear that they’d drop their cars on us.
Why bother with the expense of a hand brake when there’s always a stump handy.
That rope isn’t a security system - it’s the only thing keeping the car from falling apart.
