Oops. Fortunately that’s about a 12 second repair under race conditions. Of course, what’s the cost?
So you’re Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld and you’ve been asked by your bosses to come out to the BMW factory in Munich and show off the new Sauber car for the plebes; what’s the one thing you’re sure to avoid doing? Watch the video above for the inevitable, and hilarious, answer to that question.

Apparently, the video is no longer available on YouTube. :/
Wish I had looked at this while the video was still available.
I saw it before it was pulled. Just a simple knocking off of the nose pieces when he hit the wall.
But I’m wondering why it was pulled. Bernie’s Formula 1 Management should have nothing to do with this clip. Yes it’s a F1 car but it is not on any track.
I apologize if it is incorrect to post this link, but I found another copy.

You can skip the first half of the video.
And I feel bad for the guy… It sucks to nudge something when you’re drivign by yourself, but being a “professional driver” in front of a bunch of people has got to amp up the “oh ####” feeling…
Shoulda fitted the Monaco steering rack… ![]()
that must be embarrassing and hilarious at the same time haha
Ah yes, F1. another 22 MPH crash. how exciting. But funny as hell!
Makes me realize that I didn’t have such a bad day after all!!
OUCH!!!
Spinning + tire fumes + possible cockpit distraction = lulz.
