Setup Back on Speed for Second Season

The first eight episodes of the reality racing show Setup aired on Speed last night. Like season one, the second season will feature aspiring drivers competing in Pontiac Solstice GXP-R’s against each other – all for a $100,000 reward and a chance to test with Team Pontiac.
This year, there will be 12 competing teams. Yes, teams of two drivers. Each episode will feature two races with one team being eliminated after the events, according to Edmund’s Inside Line.
Setup Producer Scott Gillen says, “This will be an extremely competitive season. If you don't lose, you'll stay in this thing until the end — and anyone has a chance to win the championship in the final episode.

I haven't watched this show before, but man, anything that isn't NASCAR on speed is a good thing. Those guys are a little extreme. I would kill to have my full, 3 day, WRC coverage back. Man, now THAT is great racing! At least they haven't dumped F1 yet, as sad a state as that is degenerating into.

It's a good show...I read about it before, and now I'm going to watch it this year. The first episode had me very intrigued.

Good show. Actually the Australian Touring Cars were my favorite former Speed program.
What is the allure of F1 - aka the no passing race league? I will watch a race occasionally but will never be a fanatic.
