Yup, a shirt and tie is just what I pack when heading to the salt flats…oh yeah, and don’t forget the high heels for the girlfriend. She loves sinking into mushy salt after a thunderstorm.

American designer Tommy Hilfiger is preparing to launch his spring/summer collection, and has chosen a group of land speed record cars to spearhead the advertising efforts. The new commercial shows an attractive group of young people draped artistically over and on a posse of “tank” cars, built from jetfighter fuel tanks.
Its hard to find a more picturesque filming location than the Bonneville salt flats where the ad was shot, and hard to get racier than these low-slung, bullet-shaped motors. Enjoy.
