I guess that Seyth’s reply to my remark on an earlier post about the bloggers’ obesession with the matter. It’s becoming Diesel Daily here.
Has it become obvious that we really like diesels?
If it hasn’t, this BMW spot should help jog the memories of WINDING ROAD readers, and get them even more excited that the Bavarian company is sending its nicest oil-burner our way. Our driving gloves are waiting.

It is easy to like Diesels, especially once one gets over a few pre-conceived notions.
I love that those of us who have lost those pre-conceived notions and already have and use Diesels here in America will finally have some choices when it comes time to retire our current rides.

Showing a smoking diesel truck in an ad doesn’t do much to dispel pre-conceived notions.
