Wow!
Either we missed it, or this novel steel wire show wasn’t set up during media days at the Shanghai Auto Show.
Regardless, it’s a pretty intriguing display in which a single performance artist is suspended in front of a giant video screen. The dancer moves with her backdrop in such a way that it appears that she’s interacting with it, concocting some truly interesting visual tricks in the bargain.
While the YouTube submitter says the display was in the vicinity of Volkswagen, it isn’t clear whether this was their handiwork, or whether it was simply something to do with China’s upcoming Olympic celebrations.
In either case, enjoy.
