One-Man Team Strips Citroen 2CV
Written By: Evan McCausland
I’ve long debated what my ideal project car would be, but these days, I’m leaning towards a Citroen 2CV of some sort. No, I’m not choosing it only because of some bizarre fascination with les véhicules français or for its fuel economy. Rather, I’m picking it because I know regardless of what goes wrong, there’s nothing too complex for me to fix.
That’s not saying I don’t know my way around a car; I’d just like to know that, should I have to remove the entire body from the frame, I could do so with a 12-piece metric socket set from Sears and my own labor. This owner proves stripping the body can be done solo, albeit the exact time passed is unknown.
