Need a New Set of Dunlops? Just Get a Tattoo

dscn1025.jpg

Only in Vegas… Dunlop is offering a free set of four tires for folks willing to don the Dunlop logo or tread pattern for life. Tattoo artists are on hand to ink the company’s logo on your body. The tattoos are crowd favorites. We hear the line starts at 8:00 a.m. and the first reservations are taken an hour later. Dunlop officials expect all available spots, roughly 20 per day, to be spoken for within five minutes. We hear one guy did it just to get a free tattoo and he was amazed that there were some free tires in the deal.

Shouldn't a tattoo for life be accompanied by free sets of tires for life? At the very least a "I got a dunlop tattoo" tire discount for life!

Then again, I'm just cheap... I buy Kumho.

"Dunlop officials expect all available spots, roughly 20 per day, to be spoken for within five minutes."

Wow. People are that eager to ink themselves for life...with a Dunlop logo?

The tattoo lasts for life; the tires last for about 2 years.

1 Set of New Dunlops - Free

Tatoo - Free

Stupidity - Priceless

Hell, I'd do it. I have enough tatoos, 1 more wouldn't make a big difference, but a free set of tires would be useful.

I am cheap too by the way. I bought Kumho's for my truck. A little loud, but the traction is good.

John

Tatoo.... $75.00

Tires.... $350.00

Would I do it?

Hell yes!!

UnforGiven

I'll bet these idiots would buy the tires for the free tattoo.

Oh man,
If a 25 year old man gets one of these and lives to be the ripe old age of 75, dunlop gets to pay $5 or $6 dollars a year for advertising on your skin. And people are jumping at the chance to do this? Incredible.

I can get everyone who gets a Tattoo 200,000 in a lawsuit that will be a slam dunk.

Uh, wow... how dumb are going to feel when you walk back into that store 4 years later (these people are cheap remember?) to buy a new set of tires?

I can just imagine hanging out at the bar...

Guy w/ new tires: "Me? Yeah, I got a tattoo." *lifts shirt sleeve*

Hottie: "WTF!?"

Guy: "I got free tires!"

The same people who would brand themselves for life would probably be the first to line up when the government offers "free" barcoding on your forehead as an 'anti-terrorist' measure. Sheep like these don't deserve to live in a democratic society.

So if I get my company's logo tattooed on my forehead or arm does that mean I might get a promotion? Mark of the Beast! Heres to consumerism.

I feel we should live and let live, therefore if you want to get a set of tires this way, it affects noone but you. Whatever your reason and it seems a bit dramatic, but if it's not your body, it's not your business!
