Here’s a Ford GT Anyone Can Afford
Everyone loves the Ford GT, but let’s be honest, the cost of entry is a bit steep for most folks. The good news is it only takes $649.99 to buy your own functional 1:6 scale model.
This remote controlled version powered by a 23cc gas engine will run up to 60 miles per hour and even has disc brakes. It can’t possibly be as cool as getting the real car, but you shouldn’t have to take out a second mortgage to buy this GT. With an incredible 38-inch length and 15-inch width, this certainly isn’t your run-of-the-mill remote control car. Those dimensions should also be good for persuading others that this is a worthwhile addition to your car collection, not just some child’s toy.

Kind of looks like something you could run in NASCAR.

$650 for that? I'd rather spend $500 on a non-running Danbury Mint 1:12 '57 'Vette.

Heh. The 1:32 RC Ford GT that I picked up for $10 at Radio Shack (on Clearance, you can find all kinds of great stuff at Radio Shack) looked way better than this model. Sure, it doesn't go as fast, but it at least makes a more accurate representation of the car shape.
