It's been a while since we've seen an authentic AC hit the eBay listings; even longer for one that wasn't an Ace, Aceca or Cobra. That said, finding a 1910 AC Sociable up for grabs easily caught our attention.

Auto Carriers, LTD. was founded in England in 1904 with the aim of producing a conventional 20-hp touring car. Financiers weren't sure of the market for such a vehicle, and pushed for a development of a three-wheel cycle car, intended mostly for delivery routes. A passenger version, the Sociable, was launched in 1907, and advertisements touted it's simplistic design. "If desired," it claimed, "the whole power unit may be removed complete in 20 minutes." Of course, being a 648-cc single-cylinder motor using chain-drive to the rear wheel may have helped such a quick repair time.

This particular example, built a year before the implementation of the famous circular logo, is touted as a worn older restoration, but it still is in good shape. The seller claims it's always been garaged over the last 60 years, and although it's not been run in four years, we imagine it wouldn't take much to tune - let alone overhaul - that mini-motor.

Still, if you're looking for some antique British three-wheeled fun, this may be as good as it gets.
