Drop-Tops and Flip-Flops: The Complete Miami Vice Series on DVD
The 1980’s were a great time for television; more specifically the 80’s were a great time for cars on television.
Whether you’ve a hankering for the American muscle supplied by the Duke boys, the devil-may-care antics of K.I.T.T. and Michael Knight, or the sheer might of the A-Team van, viewers were spoiled for choice.
Among the coolest shows, and cars of the decade though, were the classy rides rocked by Crockett and Tubbs of Miami Vice. Yeah yeah, we all know that the Ferrari Daytona Spyder was neither a Ferrari, nor a Daytona, but it certainly looked the part on the small screen. Plus there was still a Testarossa, an achingly cool 1963 Cadillac Coupe de Ville convertible, and a rotating cast of other sweet metal to lust after.
Thankfully, the entire run of Miami Vice, all five seasons, can now be had in one DVD set, and presented in 5.1 surround sound. Throw on your best white slip-ons and pick it up today. It’ll be the best $135 you spend all month.

I thought you guys were talking about the Clinton White House from the title.
I hate to admit it, but I like Miami Vice. It's a badly dated TV show with some dreadful '80s clichés and fashion; but I have fun watching it still.
Still for generational TV, I'd much rather watch the first season of Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn Smith looks so good it's criminal.
