Dipstick 101: The Mazda Bongo Video
Even for those not blessed with a preternatural automotive sense, finding the dipstick in an unfamiliar vehicle is usually the matter of a few seconds. Not so for Mazda’s head-scratching Bongo minivan, as evidenced by this snappy, tongue-in-cheek, walk-through video.

Wow, that's a stupid way to get at the dipstick. Bet there are a lot of seizures due to low oil in those simply due to lack of perseverance in getting to the point where you can even check the oil.

Almost like an old VW Vanagon, but at least there they put the dipstick (and oil filler IIRC) behind the fold-down license plate at the back of the car.
