“Cars” Coming to Disney’s California Adventure
And you thought the Maliboomer was exciting.
In a move to both fan the flagging attendance at it’s California Adventure Park, and capitalize on the success of Pixar’s runaway hit Cars, Disney is planning on dropping over a billion dollars on a new auto-themed attraction.
Stopping short of creating a whole new facility, Disney has plans to reinvigorate the theme park using Disney animated movies as the creative fuel for new rides and attractions. With hits like Toy Story already on board, Cars figures to be the starting point for automotive themed rides and games, perhaps paving the way for a new generation of motor enthusiasts…or animators.
Would Cars the Ride get your ticket money? Tell us in ‘comments’.
