Sweet swag. You press guys have it lucky. (Although tea sets like that aren’t very expensive on the streets of China, it was still a nice free gift.)
Now we’ve seen it all. The Chinese automakers have a tendency to give out strange gifts to the press, but this is definitely something we were not expecting. Shortly after leaving the Geely press conference, news contributor Evan McCausland was handed a large bag containing a very ornate wooden box. We all took guesses at what could be inside said box, but when we opened it only to reveal a sixteen-piece tea set, we were indeed caught off guard. Now we just have to figure out who gets to keep it.

Whoever keeps it better remember that this tea set is for “display only”. I wouldn’t dare attempt to use it at tea time; lead poisoning tends to leave an awful aftertaste.
