UAW Sets Strike Deadline for Chrysler

Talks between the union and the automaker have been ongoing since last Friday, but it wasn’t until this morning that the UAW set a “strike target deadline

Shouldn't that banner read "Bargaining for America's Decline"?

The Union has lost its umph and everyone knows it. With Cerebus in control and with the bad deal Chrysler got the last go around, it would be fabulous to see them let the union strike until they beg for work. Of course, that is not practical, but it sure would be fun to see. It may mean a terrible year, but it would most likely brake the union and save Chrysler in the long run. Now, all you union people scream.... But at over $70 an hour? Come on, what is your work really worth? The teachers in this country that provide 10 times the value get less than 1/2 of that.

hmmm David must work in an office. I agree that this type of work is not worth 70 an hour. What it is worth is hundreds of thousands of economy powering middle class incomes. good luck UAW.
