If SEAT can't build a decent 1-series competitor for 28k or less, then we should all quit our day jobs.
Seriously.

I am starting to wish we got SEAT here in the States, the designs they have been showing recently are much nicer then the VW of America cars (since SEAT is VW's Spanish arm)

I have never been a fan of car "families".
Sometimes it is painful watching a company force fit the corporate grill onto some designs.
I wish this Seat was monocolor. I find it difficult to determine what they have done with sheet metal versus paint....
Sharp looking little dude in any case.

Does the average customer even look for for a "brand connection in styling elements?" The average consumer sees a car as an appliance. They want reliability, ergonomics, and build quality. I have never seen a good looking suv built by anyone. Putting styling in the same sentence with suv is an oxymoron. Nobody buys an suv for the sake of it's styling!

Looks like the world's sexiest Astra!

Seriously, bring Seat over as the sporty division of VW. Sporty in all categories. From tiny gas sippers, to full on family cars. (notice no mention of SUVs...because well, they suck) Love Seat's styling. It may not be as easily "liked" as VW, but damn if it doesn't get your attention!
