In the December 13 print edition of Autocar (hey, international mail is a little slow, and this little chestnut isn’t on their website), the UK publication posits that Lancia is mulling introducing a neo-Monte Carlo.
The mid-engined coupe was originally known as the Scorpion in the U.S., thanks to a certain Chevrolet by the same name.
If built, the model would be an integral part of the brand’s strategy to shift 300,000 units by 2010 (the automaker pushed 120,000 cars out the door in 2006). For those of you North American Lancia fans out there, however, we wouldn’t hold our breath.

Unfortunately is impossibile then Fiat give to Lancia money to build a new Montecarlo, truly impossible. In this time they don’t give money to build a little simple sport coupè-cabrio derivated in all from the segC like new Fulvia. So is impossible they can build RHD in all not parent with neither mechanics parts of other car of the group
Unfortunately are 15 years than in FIat group they spend money (without market result!) only for AlfaRomeo and on the same time they has destroyed Lancia and his sport car side and his image aroun the world and in Italy.
So, Heart in peace again “lancisti” We can continue to buy Audi, Mercedes. Bmw, Subaru and other sport car but not Lancias-
