Frankfurt: Ferrari Rolls Out 430 Scuderia to Teeming Masses
What would a major European auto show be without a few tasty Italian confections? We shudder to think. Fear not, however, as Ferrari has stepped up and produced its 430 Challenge Scuderia, the spiritual successor to the 360 Modena Challenge Stradale.
In any case, the assembled throngs at the car’s introduction were clamoring as much for the Scuderia as they were for Formula One legend Michael Schumacher, who was on-hand to unveil Modena’s latest. In fact, the situation got so out of control, that the press conference was almost canceled.
But enough of the Hollywood shenanigans. The Scuderia takes both a less-is-more and more-is-less approach to improved dynamics, having gone on a 220-pound diet and absorbed a substantial horsepower boost (510 versus 483).
Giddy up, Prancing Horse.

I was wondering when you would get to this one

Oh man, this car looks sweet in baby blue. And upon closer inspection, you can really see how they thinned everything out to lower the weight.

My wonderful girlfriend keeps telling me that a sky/baby-blue Vespa would be just the cutest thing for me. Wonder if I could get her to go for this instead. ("It's blue! It's Italian! It has an automatic transmission (well, sort of)!")

shame on you patrick from astoria..."automatic sort of"...even though this car will only problably come with the f1 gearing box, I would never, and i mean never let the computer shift it for me...If only I could get one with a standart 6 gear gated manual...oh yeah, and blue...hmmm id leave that for other cars, how about a ferrari red or maybe yellow...
