Finally, press shots that aren't photoshopped!

I like it. I do wish Aston would pull away from Callum's DB7 design direction--but I like it. I'm still confused about the car's target audience. I'm hearing it's supposed to replace the Vanquish, yet is based on the DB9.

Oh well.

Let try italics here...

Casino Royale was great.

Ducati Minor

Damn it. Where'd my comment go?

Paraphrase...cool car, hope it isn't too big and expensive.

Mena

Yet another Aston Martin that looks just like all the other Aston Martin's. Someone needs to be fired.

Ducati Minor

At least the italics worked.

andre

i think all aston martins right now look great, but they all look the same. and wasnt this supposed to come out closer to the release of casino royale?

Zelman

There is nothing wrong with an Aston looking like another Aston, considering that they are some of the most stunning vehicles on the road.

Gotakon

Yeah, I admittedly have a bit of trouble telling my Aston Martins apart at a glance. But as Zelman said, these things sure look awesome.

Astons are not the same .... oh well, maybe they are not the same for experts.
there are clear difference in the lines of the vanquish, DB9 and V8 vantage. even a difference in the size.
I wonder why Aston stopped the vanquish though, couldn`t they produce new one instead. maybe is it the low funding.

Kal

The Vanquish is still sold overseas (i.e. not in the US), and it was dicontinued here so it wouldn't compete against the V12 DB9.

If you see a DB9, V12 Vanquish, and V8 Vantage next to each other you'd have no trouble telling the them apart. All cars should be styled so nicely, Ian Callum has done a terrific job in creating a classic and iconic design, its too bad more of it hasn't rubbed off on Jaguar.
