Shanghai Auto Show: The Show Must Go On… Through The Weekend!

We know that for most of our readers, it's going on Friday evening, so you're probably not thinking of checking back here at WINDING ROAD much over the course of the weekend. However, we'd like to encourage you to kick back and relax with us in your spare time, as the Shanghai Auto Show's press days are on an unusual schedule, taking us clear through Saturday. This, when our cups already runneth over with all manner of interesting automotive finds from here in China.

We're hard at work on a lot of additional posts featuring big-name cars, small-name cars, and no-name cars, as well as various nonsensical items from the show itself and the surrounding area, in hopes of giving you an unparalleled glimpse of what automotive life is like here in Shanghai.

In other words, you'll continue to see a lot more updates before we check out of the St. Regis and fold ourselves into coach class for the long flight(s) back to the States. So by all means, please stay with us. We hope you enjoy.

Keep doing the job, guys. For me, you have one of the most desirable jobs on the planet: testing cars. Only the guys at Bass Player Magazine could get close, playing US$5000 instruments for a living. If only the female models of the Auto Show lived closer to home...

Lovely ladies, all.
