Well, the good news is that with “diesel” mentioned in the advertising, the buyer pool will be pretty slim for the V-8 and probably mean bucks off. Then I can casually spend $110,000 for a discounted one.
What sucks about the V-8 TDI, however, is that the acceleration will be unimpressive, as the all-out twin-turbo 6.0 L V-12 had a 0-60 time on par with a Chevy C5 Z06. Imagine what a less powerful V-8 will end up with.

Anything less than the V-12 will be an unimaginative pile of crap.

Who said its gonna get a V8 diesel, wher’d that come from? Ther already in the works of making changes to the current R8 to fit the V12 TDI. Why would they change?
