Hyundai and More: The Bounty in Store for the LA Auto Show

hyundairwd.jpg

There’s a lot to look forward to when it comes to next month’s LA Auto Show, including the Hyundai RWD sports car concept.

When it’s all said and done, 30 vehicles will be shown to the North American public for the first time, with 14 of those being honest-to-God world premiers. The fun may begin with the sexy new Hyundai, but it won’t end there.

WINDING ROAD readers will want to be close to a digital device when we hit the show in Cali, so as not to miss the debut of the new Nissan Murano CUV.

Making North American debuts will be archrivals Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Ferrari will be on hand with the F430 Scuderia, while Lamborghini shows off its ultra-exclusive Reventon. Jaguar’s XF and BMW’s 1-Series will also appear under the LA lights.

Make a point to check out WINDING ROAD News, as we bring you ever-expanding coverage of the auto show season.

Anaheim is having its show this weekend. It's a smaller and less significant venue, but the smaller crowds make it easier to glimpse at and inside the vehicles.

Perhaps it's me, but I am missing attraction here.

Ducati Minor,

That's lucky for you guys there on the mainland where there are numerous auto shows yearly. We have ONE and only ONE auto show a year in Hawaii.

I know it's futile, but Jesus, do I hope the new RWD Korean love machine has a neutral balance and they don't completely understeer us out. Most of all I hope it handles well simply so it starts a trend and we see everyone else making affordable RWD coupes.

Bert

Well hey look at that - a new RX8! Oh yeah, this is Hyundai....not Mazda!
