Help to Design the Future of Mazda

mazdadesignchal.jpgFor any member of the Facebook community who ever had dreams of lending your input in the design of a new car, here’s your chance.

Mazda has culled through more than 100 sketches submitted to a Facebook.com sponsored contest to help design a new concept car. They’ve narrowed the field down to ten semi-finalists and are asking for the help of the online community to get that number down to five.

Any member can log onto Facebook by October 24th and vote for their favorite design. Five finalists will be chosen to work with a designer from Mazda’s studio, and tweak the designs for the final competition. The big winner will be chosen on the 31st of this month, and will have the high honor of seeing his or her design presented as a clay model at the glamorous Los Angeles Auto Show.

What's with all these Facebook-integrated campaigns nowadays? Oh well...I guess I'll go vote. I'm just waiting for another promotion on FB like the Ticketmaster Live, 5 free iTunes downloads promotion.
