Though the relationship seems a bit convoluted, this fetching 1969 MV Agusta café style motorcycle was apparently built as a tribute to Enzo Ferrari under authorization of Ferrari SPA itself. That sanctioning, along with there only being two of these in existence, is what supposedly justifies the incendiary price tag of $120,000.
Though we perhaps don’t understand the breeding well enough to comprehend its value, there’s no doubting that this MV by British builder Dave Kay is pretty hot. The slinky bodywork is all hand-beaten aluminum, and the practically unused engine has exotic magnesium castings. The sellers claim that that bike runs like a “Swiss Watch” though it has only covered six miles since its completion. A rare treat for a rich specialist, have a look at the lovely MV in our gallery below.

With prices for a gallon of gas seemingly hitting new highs everyday this three-wheeled Westward Go-4 on eBay Motors may be more marketable than ever, but will likely still require an owner with a healthy sense of self confidence to drive it.
Built for urban police forces or security guards in large parking lots, we really admire the go-it-alone spirit of the current iconoclastic owner who uses the Go-4 as a daily driver. The three-wheeler is powered by a decently sturdy 1.3-liter Ford Festiva engine, and isn’t likely to be too dangerous a ride unless one needs to spend major time on the freeway. It also has the advantage of being registered as a motorcycle and getting cheap rates on insurance because of it. Throw in the heater and seat belts, and the package starts to sound downright luxurious. Remember to do something about those NASCAR stickers though.

A high-point in 1980s automotive technological innovation and excess, this 1988 Aston Martin Lagonda is one car that tends to divide people into groups of “love it” or “hate it” We tend to think that the car’s wide, flat, boxy lines are rather elegant, it a bit overly severe. There’s no arguing about the Aston’s being a technological tour de force however, as it boasted features like LCD screens , and a voice warning system that wouldn’t be seen on lesser cars until a decade later.
Part of the very last fourth Lagonda series the 1988 car is one of only 105 made between 1987 and 1990, and would seem to represent the best of the marquee. Nice ornamental Dubai plate comes with the auction as well, perfect for that extra exotic touch.

While our eBay Motors tastes usually run more to the complete car style, occasionally we do find ourselves wandering the wide and wild aisles of the “Parts & Accessories” category.
There, amongst the second-hand short block Caterpillar diesel motors, and multiple hundreds of General Motors crate engines, we stumbled upon this perfectly ridiculous tuned Audi 20-valve, turbocharged, 2.3-liter, inline-five. In addition to a custom Borg Warner turbo and aluminum intercooler, the bored out powerplant can boast a fully balanced forged crankshaft, forged rods and bearings, and a fully ported and polished cylinder head. Those adds, in addition to a list of parts far too long to repeat here, will reportedly deliver the new owner with 900-plus German-engineered horsepower. Now, if we can just find a go-kart big enough to mount it in…

This Suzuki Cappuccino is a classic example of a sports car in the Japanese Kei car segment, diminutive in its homeland and utterly tiny in comparison to most American vehicles.
The two-seat roadster is powered by a 657cc DOHC three-cylinder engine which was officially rated at 63 horsepower, though the seller claims that its output is likely closer to 100 horsepower. In either regard the small mill is more than enough to provide spritely acceleration to a car that weighs about 1,500 pounds.
The little Suzuki also offers a roof system that allows a driver to choose between a full hard top, a targa-style removable center panel, and a fully open convertible. It’s also likely to be a real head turner, both for its cuter-than-a-Miata looks, and its absolutely charming size. The main drawback for buyers here would seem to be the premium being charged for the Cappuccino’s rarity; it carries an OBO price of $15,900. For the discerning (and short) collector only.

Who knew that the Batmobile lived in Arkansas?
Want to own the ultimate piece of Batman memorabilia? You’re going to have to plunk down a fair wad of cash to put this original Batmobile (one of five made for the original movie with Micheal Keaton and Jack Nicholson) in your garage; the asking place is a cool half-million.
Don’t worry, it’s totally worth it though. For your $500,000 you get an exotic Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V-8 for power, and a body kit that looks really durable. Happy bidding.

Whether or not you can get behind Spyker’s over-the-top styling of its C8 sports car, most would have to concede that the car is destined to be obsessed over for years to come.
Shown here in an especially “can’t ignore me” shade of yellow pearl, the Dutch super car is begging to be looked at. In addition to the radical exterior, Spyker has really put together a cabin that can only be matched by high-end customizers, and a handful of late model TVRs. The quilted seats with yellow stitching, dazzlingly bright dash, and polished six-speed gear lever are functional art. We’re not positive that we’d be willing to plunk down our $150,000-plus for the quirky beast, but we’d certainly accept a longish test drive.

While most of us (at least the group with access to about $975) could easily pick up a nicely kept up version of the much-abused Geo Metro, only 500 lucky souls will ever have a chance to pilot an example fettled by the Solectria Corporation.
Chosen by Solectria because General Motors had engineless examples ready to go, this Metro has never been sullied with the sweet smells of internal combustion. And though the unassuming EV has covered a healthy 16,000-plus miles in its life to date, the car seems to be in remarkable condition from stem to stern.
While interest in high mpg or alternative fuel cars like this EV Metro is certainly on the rise in today’s world, we still think that the seller may be overestimating the appeal of this particular car. With a starting price of $10,000, we’re guessing that the EV will price out those looking for simple electric transportation, and turn off those who might be interested in making some kind of lifestyle statement.

After countless years on the Santa Monica Pier in California spent ferrying the NASCAR dreams of bouncing youth in 90-second intervals, this French-built, Intimidator spec, #3 Chevy bumper car is up for auction on eBay Motors.
While there aren’t many of us that could provide the bumper car with a functional arena (what does one call the place where bumper cars “go”?), this ever-careening tribute to the lasting legend of Dale Earnhardt would surely make a fine centerpiece in any collector’s stash.

Looking for the experience of driving a legendary racecar, but don’t quite have the budget to pull off the real thing? This Ford GT40 replica looks to provide automotive champagne on a beer (ok, maybe just slightly cheaper champagne) budget.
While this replica race car may not have all the moxie of a real sixties GT40, it’s likely to be a much more livable proposition. The car is built around a modern, and perfectly powerful Roush 427 V-8, with a Ford five-speed manual that’s less likely than an original GT40 transmission to break your ankle at low speeds. As an means to experiencing the true vintage Le Mans sensation, the replica may be marginal, but as a way to enjoy some head-turning, high speed fun, we’d guess it’s spot on.

Proving that there is no limit on the imagination of a true gear-head is this remarkable 1987 Peterbilt street rod on eBay Motors.
The strange creation was built up on the bones of a 1985 Oldsmobile Toronado and will offer its singular owner the fruits of a 307 cubic-inch V-8 hooked up to a four-speed slush box. The seller assures us that the truck always turns heads, a claim that we’re not going to take issue with. A little more puzzling for us is why he or she made the decision to stick an aborted truck bed out back, perhaps the rodder wanted just an inch more utility.
