Well we couldn’t walk around SEMA in the middle of Las Vegas and come back with pictures of just cars, could we?
Enjoy the gallery and check back later for expanded coverage (or lack thereof).

In a country of a billion faces, we’d be remiss if we left you with a paltry twenty five good images of Shanghai’s other showstopping models. Enjoy Day Two, from China with (platonic) love.

We first showed you stock shots and gave you the official details on Abarth’s rebirth last week. Now that we’ve clapped eyes on the Grande Punto Abarth and its motorsports cousin, the Grande Punto Abarth S2000, we’re ready to cry in our hot cocoas over here—they’re beautiful, and we’ve got no shot at getting them in the States.
Fiat marked out Abarth’s small space in fine fashion, with a stark white high wall around its perimeter, and some retro-fashioned beauties that looked ready to hop on their Vespas and motor away.

“All forms of beauty, like all possible phenomena, contain an element of the eternal and an element of the transitory — of the absolute and of the particular. Absolute and eternal beauty does not exist, or rather it is only an abstraction creamed from the general surface of different beauties. The particular element in each manifestation comes from the emotions: and just as we have our own particular emotions, so we have our own beauty.”
- Charles Baudelaire
Using a Baudelaire quote allows us to feel better about posting photos of the girls from the Lotus display before we’ve even posted about any of their cars. Enjoy.

Despite being the premier auto show in the U.S., the North American International Auto Show isn’t exactly a hotbed when it comes to showing off models of the spokespeople variety. It being Detroit in January, perhaps we shouldn’t have expected much, but still…
Of course, we still persevered for you, our loyal readers, and managed to snag a few photos for our obligatory wrapup post, so be sure to click through the jump for a closer look.
We’ll look to do better in Chicago next month.
