The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V is set to hit GM showroom floors this fall. For those who can’t wait, here’s the first promotional video for GM’s supercharged via Germany beast.

The two-minute video showcases some of the cars stronger features, like the Eaton supercharger, Brembo brakes, dual-mode Magnetic Ride Control, and the Tremec six-speed transmission.

Enjoy the CTS-V tearing through the water-logged terrain to a bass-heavy soundtrack.

That exhaust is sounding pretty good on the video.

Awesome car! I can’t say enough good about the car, but geez, sad they couldn’t license the real Smashing Pumpkins song.

Now that the second generation Cadillac CTS is on the streets and garnering largely positive reviews for its looks, performance and handling dynamics, the time has come to turn it up a notch. The sedan’s Brembo brakes feature six pistons per caliper (much like Cadillac Escalade brake caliper) up front and four per caliper at the back. Combined with grippy Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, the CTS-V has massive stopping ability. great car!
