IntelliChoice Picks Best Overall Values for 2008

Intellichoice.com – an online automotive ownership cost and analysis site – has chosen its winners for the Best Overall Value for 2008. The site selected over 1,900 2008 model-year domestic and import vehicles to judge. They chose winners in several categories based on the best total costs to own and operate a vehicle for the first five years of ownership.

For the third consecutive year, IntelliChoice named the Toyota Prius as Best Overall Car for under $24,000. The Corvette convertible was named Best Overall $24,000. The Chevy Silverado took home Best Overall Truck over $27,000 and the Toyota Tacoma winning Best Overall Truck under $27,000.

As a Honda Pilot owner who was satisfied until the Veracruz was released by Hyundai, I'll tell you that the Pilot is NOT the best value anymore. Maybe last year, but not anymore. Some of the above picks appear not to be well-researched.
