Ford Prices Increase Across Fleet
Ford Motor Company’s sticker prices hiked on its domestic cars and light trucks by 0.7 percent according to Automotive News. The price on each Ford, Mercury and Lincoln rose by an average of $198. That considered, Ford’s total increase for the model year reached $502, an increase of 1.8 percent. It’s still better than GM’s increase of $646 or 2.2 percent.
While these numbers seem fairly high, they are still an entire percentage point lower than the average inflation rate for last year.
To break down the numbers further; the January prices for Ford increased by $197, Lincoln’s by $253, and Mercury’s by $166. The largest increases were seen on the Ford Expedition ($500) and the Lincoln Navigator ($675).

Might want to check your math. If $198 is a .07% increase, that would mean that the average price of a Ford is over $280,000. They must be selling a lot more GT40's than they are letting on...
Try 0.7%...
