At a glance, the LaCrosse Super is just what you expect from good old Buick: a rather sedate, well-appointed sedan with a big yawning trunk that can swallow up packages and potluck galore—a car that sets the heart of many a retiree racing. It’s got wide bucket seats in front and a back seat that is spacious and accommodating. OnStar and XM radio keep occupants confidently plugged in to the outside world. But this handsome Buick can also spark passion in those who are not about to shuffle into the slow lane of life—retirees and working folk all.

People always look at me a little funny when I say I really dig the Lacrosse Super. But its a nice car and plenty quick. Anyone into Buick GS cars of the late 60’s early 70’s should be all over this thing.

I admit this car is better than people give it credit for. The Buick Supers, along with the Monte Carlo/Impala SS, and Grand Prix GXP are all bargain fast movers that will appear in the pages of magazines in the future as ignored and forgotten muscle machines.

Very nice luxury car. And Buick has a reputation for screwing them together nicely, sometimes approaching Lexus quality.
