MC1 Supercar Revealed
Car Magazine has reported details concerning this supercar concept, the MCE MC1. The MC1 is the culmination of a joint effort between MotorCity Europe and C2P Automotive. The 600 horsepower V-10 supercar was designed by David Hilton (Ford Focus RS and S-Max).
MotorCity Europe hopes the car will see production in 2011 by an unnamed British coachbuilder.
The MC1 features a carbon-fiber monocoque, scissor doors, and a stacked center-mounted exhaust.

Interesting Design. I like the front and sides. The back engine covers I don't like so much.

Supercars today all look like they're trying to look futuristic, instead of just aesthetically pleasing. I really wish they'd cut it out, but it's been a strong trend since the 50's. Argh.

And the supercars of the 50's weren't? Oh yeah, there were no supercars in the 50's. Supercars as we know them came about at the introduction of the Lamborghini Miura in the mid 60's.

Given the state of the world's stock markets, I seriously doubt that it'll ever be built.
The Corvette story about not building any more 700hp 'vettes confirmed this.
