Hard Core Meets Foam Core: The Styrofoam Hummer
San Francisco-based artist Andrew Junge has sculpted this amazingly life-like Hummer out of Styrofoam that he culled from local trash. Junge based his perfect recreation on the measurements from a biodiesel-powered Hummer, making the sculpture 17 feet long and 6 feet high.
Recently shown at the Tampa Museum of Art, the Styro-Hummer is ready for sale according to the artist, and would make the perfect extravagant gift for the biggest off-road enthusiast in your life.

Look! A HUMMER with good gas mileage! Oh yeah, any Hummer that doesn't move gets good gas mileage...

incredible detail. It looks like someone did a 3D scan of a Hummer and then used a giant rapid prototyper.

Pretty cool. Any idea how much it weighs? Paint it realistic colors and it'd make a great hat in Beach Blanket Babylon.
