Hyundai Teases Concept Genesis for Big Apple Rollout
Hyundai has released a couple of teaser sketches of Concept Genesis, their forthcoming New York Auto Show debutante.
The concept’s big significance? Aside from its sheer size, the CG is rear-wheel drive. That says something straight away about the concept’s upscale ambitions, and it also presages Hyundai’s first foray into production rear-drive, a car we’ve called “Equus

The renderings are certainly nicely done, but given the inevitable "dial it back 20%" factor present in such drawings, I have a feeling it's going to look very Camry/ES-like, especially by the time the production version rolls 'round.

Camry SE look would be pretty good. The Camry looks RWD (even if it is FWD) and sells like hotcakes. If Hyundai can create even a lesser Camry clone, they will have a hit on their hands.

this car looks nice. although it looks like a camry from the front. but I couldn't imagine a rwd hyundai comming soon. imagine if it is a V8 rwd that is rated 350-400 bhp. that will be such a great break through in the company.
