Holy Hell, Batman! That thing looks sweet. I thought the concept was a bit ostentatious, but this model just looks sleek and refined. I like it a lot.
Spied on the set of the next Batman movie, one astute fan of the Dark Knight was handy enough to snap some uncluttered photos of the on-deck 2009 Lincoln MKS.
Though unmistakably maintaining the essential form of the MKS Concept, the spy shots reveal a split lip grill (that is rather less elegant than its predecessor) as well as a toned-down rear treatment. The concept’s wheels and slick headlights are two other nice details not seemingly headed for production.
Overall, the finish of the car does make for a sleek and unfussed Lincoln, just a bit of a yawn when compared with the concept. Surely, if Lincoln were to provide a Batmobile, it would have to be a little more MKR flavored.

if they change it underneat thil will be a great car. still think it’s too late to save the brand.
**** this ****
Hmmm…it looks awfully european (a good thing), but its got a big ugly Pontiac grille. Hopefully they’ll bolt it together like they give a crap and avoid using tupperware plastic and “genuine” fake wood on the inside.
Looks dull and undistinctive in black. Hard to tell how it really looks with such bad pictures. At least its not ugly like a BMW or something.
I prefer the MKR…or whatever the hell the radical Lincoln concept is called.
Certainly not unatractive but not distinctive either. Even the new Saturn Aura and Chevy Malibu are more so. That isn’t the way to success in a field of high end players.
