Spied: 2009 Porsche 911
Spy shooters have captured the next Porsche 911 looking remarkably undisguised. Expected in 2009, this Carrera S model points to another patently Porsche methodical evolution, this time showing new four-element high-intensity discharge headlamps, more prominent air intakes that hold the turn signals, and revamped lower aerodynamics. Out back, there are a set of new exhaust pipes, and LED taillights.
No word yet on any driveline changes, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see such technology as direct-injection, and hopefully, an optional dual-clutch gearbox to replace its Tiptronic setup.

Alta performance e genes de campeão: o novo Audi R8 começa a ser produzido em série e deverá ser lançado no mercado no segundo trimestre de 2007.

Yeah... evolution.
Most likely some cosmetics, but very little.
And some puny 15 HP increase.
Long live the Overprice King!

In america the 911 is a bargain, in europe it still represents amazing value. Regardless the 911 is just "one of those cars" like an m car or a ferrari or aston, you either want it and buy it or dont want it enough.

I was in at the plant in 2001 and after the tour I asked the guide why the body metal was so thin and the interior so cheep. When does Porsche wise up? Why does a 1995 993 sell for more than a 1999 996. Have you seen the prices for a 1998 Turbo? I have had 10 911's the best being my 1996 993 and the most fun to drive being my 1989 Targa. The bigest mistake was when I bought 1999 Boxter. Car looks great but it is cheep and uncomfortable. Don't do what I did when I tried to get a dent out of the door and my thumbs made two more. The new cars drive themselves and are cheep. They better start listening to those guys and girls who are asking for more fun and quailiy.

I'm a huge Porsche fan. But I must admit that the resent Porsche models are more of an update than a redesign! Especially for the 911's. Porsche is about quality and class, speed and agility. I own a Cayenne Turbo and use to own a 2004 911 c4s, and a 2002 turbo. They were all great cars. They never gave me any serious trouble and the best part about it was that they were all worth my money. If Porsche wants to really move up, they should consider completely redesigning the 911 instead of giving more upgrades. The upgrades are great, but they should try a completely new body!
