More Spied Images of New Camaro Interior
Enthusiast site Camaro5 has gotten its hands on yet another batch of 2009 Camaro interior shots, this batch showing an even more dressed up automatic transmission version of the car. There’s an interesting bank of gauges down by the shift lever, and one photo also shows an intriguing display in front of the passenger seat. Overall it looks as if the interior quality is coming up though it’s still a bit difficult to make any real judgments without seeing the cabin live and in person. Gauges down in front of the shifter are useless. They are out of even your peripheral vision while driving.

The console mounted gauges were worthless in 1968 and worthless now. Some retro ideas are best left dead. Why the heavily disguised cars - we've seen this car, for the last 2 years, in every buff magazine and web site in existance. By the time GM finally shoves this out the door it's already gonna look old.

Let me say this.... Confusing......
Bad American car that will fail.....
Sorry boys.... Not the future, it is not 1967...

Forget the Camaro. What is that on the end of the carrier? That would make an perfect Chevy Impala. I'm thinking it's the Holden Caprice/Statesman.
And the sportwagon would be a nice add as well...it looks a touch more practical and appealing than the Magnum.
Anyway...if the G8 is the poor man's 5-Series. Can't the Caprice be the poor man's A6/A8.

The interior still looks terrible. Even if it is well assembled in terms of fit/finish, the over all design is ill conceived and tacky. I like the exterior, but I could never live with what I am seeing in these interior spy shots.

With all these "Spyshots" and "Previews" - the new Camaro is going to be old news by the time it's finally released (like the Challenger - Yawn)

I was all ready to buy a convertible Camaro based on the exterior. But i agree with ZeGerman...I couldn't live with such an ugly interior. I'll get a Solstice Coupe or a used XLR instead, although I could use 4 seats.

I'd say that that "display" in front of the passenger seat, the one saying "airbag disabled" is merely a Post-It note taped to the dash.
