Allpar Spills More Challenger SRT Details Long Before the Chicago Show
The folks at Dodge must be ready to pull the internet connection from the servers at allpar.com. Now we’ve got a scan of a dealer invoice with SRT Challenger pricing and word that more than 460 horses could find their way underhood. Don't forget that massive dealer surcharge when purchasing any SRT Challenger.
There isn’t a lot of new info here, but we’ll take any Challenger info we can find.

Yeah. I thought they were using the same 6.3L V8 from all the other SRT8 cars. So that'd be 425 HP.
460 would be quite beastly.

It would make sense to jump the power for the most eventful Chrysler car since...since...the Viper? It's a big deal.

I would imagine the 460hp figure is for the rumored 6.4 Hemi. The new Hemi 5.7 will be bumped to 380-385hp. I wonder what a 5.7, 6-speed R/T will cost?

i just got back from the dealer and after 2 years i have a brochure and same build sheet as above cept my car is black and i was told it would be a minimum of 425 horse but don't be suprised if it is a 525 h.p. model no one said for sure yet.

Jeb. Ordered my challenger on Dec. 14,2007. No discount,but no surcharge,either. Good dealers are out there. You just have to look around.
