Mercedes-Benz SLK Recieves Chin-lift

We haven’t found it on M-B’s official media site yet, but the Dutch AutoBlog has what it claims are official photos of the 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK.
We’re not seeing a whole lot of change on the exterior, save for a revised front bumper which does away with the rounded corners found on the current car. Instead, there’s a wedgy split-fascia, aping both the air dam on the new C63 AMG and the nose spoiler on a formula one car. Changes to the rear and interior, if any, are minimal. We wish M-B had revamped the car in the way Kleeman did with their GLK…
No official specs have yet been released, but AB claims the car’s been tuned to squeeze out an additional 10 hp - but we don’t know if this will be across the board or relegated to a particular model. Stay tuned for more information on Benz’s baby roadster, should it develop.
