Mazda Miatas For Italian Nostalgics
Another day, another Miata rebody. Well, two, actually--we've got another for you after the jump. The car shown here is from Simpson Design, and it's known as the Miata Manta Ray.Clearly paying homage to cars like the Nardi Blue Ray Turin showcar, the Manta conversion kits lend the Mazda a little bit of vintage Italian flair, though we’re not quite convinced that Simpson has pulled it off. Either way, we'd definitely shy away from the wire wheels.
For those looking to rebody their Miatas in a different direction, Simpson also offers the Italia Miata, which reminds us strongly of various Ferraris, and even the Shelby Daytona Coupe.

I like the miata manta ray, as it makes the thought of buying a miata more palettable. It makes me think, what if I bought a used miata for cheap and then get the conversion done down the road to make it look one of a kind in my city.
