Gamer’s Corner: Grand Theft Auto 4, with Multiplayer and Racing Action
While our future video gaming schedule is going to be pretty full after the release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue next month, we’re still fairly excited at this new bit of information regarding the pending release of Grand Theft Auto 4 for the PlayStation 3 console. The Spanish language version of PlayStation Magazine has gotten a hold of some screen shots of the new game, as well as a slew of new details. One of the most exciting notes is that GTA4 will offer a full multi-player experience, with up to 16 gamers able to join in at once. The multi-player option should prove to be a blast when playing new games that pit cops versus crooks, team mafia battles, and full-on death match games. But perhaps most exciting is the full "GTA Race" mode, in which the game's vast arsenal of cars and weapons should be on offer in straight wheel-to-wheel action. What's a "Muliplayer"? Oh, Oh,...you mean "multi-player"...gottcha. ;)

I know you guys aren't a game source, but it's being released at the same time for the Xbox 360. Might want to put that in somewhere. And I can't wait another day! This game is going to be the best, Rockstar always pulls out all the stops for a new GTA game. Awesome to know there will be racing too..... even if it isn't exactly the, ahem, main activity in the game, lol.
