Those nominations should help them sell a lot of cars, just as it helped the Aura last year when it won. Oh.....wait a minute......

regardless of whether it helps to sell cars or not. Great job GM.

Every person who I have spoken to about the '08 CTS has commented on how nice it is. The exterior is similar, but the driving dynamics and interior are level and a half above--including in Euro magazines.
Of the two comparison tests I have read, the CTS did not come in No. 1 among "sport sedans." It fell behind Infiniti's G35 in both, but stayed ahead of Mercedes. The reviewers did give it high praise, though. The matter of weight seemed to be the primary concern.
I think few people, however, will consider the Infiniti as much of a standout as the Caddy. No, it's not a Sixteen (which I could never afford, anyway), but it's still a wonder.

GM's back on my shopping list, after many years of checking " would not consider", I've done a turn about. Great rides are back at GM. I have a Aura XR, the car puts a smile on my face.

Is it not amazing that those who are so riled up about loss of jobs, adverse balance of payments, appaling science scores of America's youth. etc will likely not even take these new GM cars for a test drive? Undoubtedly GM found change particularly difficult and yes, it took Japanese competition to finally awake the slumbering giant but now that results are starting to show, lets give GM a fighting chance.
