Nissan to Make Cuts to U.S. Design Team

nissan_hl.jpgNissan North America has announced that it will be cutting back its design team by offering voluntary buyouts to members of the Farmington Hills and San Diego studios. Sad. The one thing that has set Nissan apart is their designs. I hate to see cutbacks there.

Those cuts better not affect Nissan's great designs! And like chartguy said, it set them apart from the competition.

And yes, Aren, you are one of the very, VERY few that dislike those engines... Its just a pleasure to hear the sound! It gives the car a certain personality... where most cars have none. Every reviewer loves this engine! And for good reason! And why change THE thing that makes those Nissan cars so reliable? Long life to the VQ engines!
