Mr. Mulally: Please Sell Jaguar to Jac Nasser
Jac Nasser made some mistakes when he was chairman of Ford. If you recall, that was an era when Detroit’s captains of industry were falling over one another trying to see who could make the biggest mistakes most often. Nonetheless, if you are at all concerned about Jaguar’s future viability, Jac Nasser is your best bet.
I am a Jaguar enthusiast. I’ve been driving them with great gusto since 1953. I think I speak for some thousands of guys like myself who would be delighted with the new Jags that would roll off an assembly line owned and operated by Jac Nasser and his associates. He is one of us. He genuinely likes Jaguars and he appreciates the Jaguar driving experience. He understands their unique character. He has the automotive taste that the next round of Jaguars will require.
Take the money the Nasser group is offering, rid yourself of a festering problem, and bring a little joy into the lives of us who long to see another Jaguar victory at LeMans.
Thank you for your attention,

Ford would do well to heed DED's council!

The XK120 is nice, but I prefer the Aston Volante in the background.

I wholeheartedly agree with Mr Davis.

I agree with DED. I miss my 1997 XJR, on which I put 187K miles, until the supercharger died. I'm waiting for a new XJ. (Driving the last NSX -2005 now) I'd hate to think of it being designed under the watchful eyes of TATA!!

The Jaguar was falling apart (literally) before Ford took them over.
That's a matter of historical fact.
The femme fatal from high school got old and fat, Davis.
Ford put Jag on the list of most reliable cars. Really. Check it out.
Then they went nutso with the models, but......without Ford's money there will be no Jaguar.......IMO It would die within 5 years at the hands of Jac Nasser.

It's dying now, at the hands of Ford. If you don't see a Crown Vic, when you look at the XJ, you aren't looking very closely.
Jaguar has lost its identity under Ford's ownership. It's almost like what happened to Mercury.
