Ford Goes South, Again
We’re talking about the Ford Edge’s introduction to Brazil, of course, not Ford’s numbers.
Ford sells well in South America, as the Fusion is the midsize segment leader – Ford’s sales are up 20 percent in Brazil according to Edmund’s Insideline. Now, the Edge will join forces with the Fiesta-based EcoSport in an attempt to dominate Brazil’s crossover market.
Ford has also stated its plans to invest $1 billion over the next 4 years to revamp its Brazilian manufactured products.
