Friends of the National Automotive History Collection – a members organization that supports the NAHC at the Detroit Public Library – has voted the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10 as the “Collectible Vehicle of the Future

I guess I understand where the group is coming from. When you consider the money spent on some pretty common muscle cars (thankfully burning out), this would be reasonable. Unless Dodge were to kill off the Viper soon, I don't see it as becoming likely. The Viper has always been a low-volume product, and I don't see the 2008 being anymore special beyond the fact that it is a newer model. The Viper, in general, is a future collectible.
