Sure, we can go to winter tire testing facilities in the great forty-eight, and we have done so, had fun, and learned a lot. But such experiences pale in comparison to the BMW Winter Training in the Varmland region of central Sweden. BMW’s official winter testing facility is located farther north in Arjeplog, but the masses of small lakes around Nyskoga are a more beautiful location for the school. Both places are buried in snow and ice, but that would never prevent real Swedes from driving around at the speed limit.
