Forbes Auto Lists Most Researched Luxury Cars

Forbes Auto compiled a list of the most searched luxury cars on its site during the fourth quarter of 2007. European brands dominated, per usual. The Mercedes-Benz S-class placed second and BMW’s 3-series sedan placed fourth. But, the somewhat, or not, surprising part is that three of the vehicles in the top ten aren’t even on sale yet.
The 2009 BMW M3 Coupe took the top spot for the most researched vehicle on forbesauto.com. The 2009 Jaguar XF placed third, while the 2009 Audi A4 Sedan placed sixth.
But, vehicle sales are dropping, you say; how are the luxury brands doing so well? Well, market fluctuations have never – barring the Great Depression – really affected the wealthy. In fact, experts expect the market for luxury cars to grow.
