Mr. Mitar Rasevic, a retired member of the JAW, previously worked in quality control at the Yugo plant in Kragujevac.
A certain woody we posted about earlier this week generated a fair amount of controversy, but somehow we don’t expect that very many people will take issue with this unusually customized wooden Volkswagen Beetle. Hand-built by an elderly Bosnian man, this car is coated in more than 20,000 individual oak pieces, and is clearly a labor of love.

I’ve seen plenty of mutilated beetles, but that is by far the most beautiful. Actually, it’s the only one that is beautiful. Damn that’s a gorgeous car.
I wonder how much all that wood weighs.
