SEMA: Scion Announces Partnership with Ridemakerz, We Build a Customized xB

Oh, Scion. As if outfitting an xD with a functional crane game wasn’t enough for this year’s SEMA show, Scion announced a new partnership with Ridemakerz this afternoon. Ridemakerz, for those of you in the dark, is a company that allows people of all ages to build and customize their own model cars online or in one of the two retail stores found in the U.S.

When they make it a diecast 1:18 replica, then I'll be interested. I think that working with Ridemakerz is a great idea for Scion, since it works perfectly with their marketing goals, but I've just never been into Ridemakerz. They are just a bit too overpriced for what is essentially a car-shaped build-a-bear.
