Trying to figure out that hood stripe…
Wonder if they were considering two different designs, and put one on each half, to consider before choosing.
For the second time today Camaro5.com is hot on the Camaro news tips, this time presenting images form the General Motors Accessories design studio. The related photos show a pile of Camaro adds, still in clay form, and attached to the body of a be-striped prototype.
The list of modifications in the photos include; seven-spoke wheels, RS and SS stripe packages (left and right sides of the car respectively), grille insert, rear fascia blackout, platform-style wing and ducktail spoiler, fuel-filler cap, two ground effects kits, slotted brake discs with red calipers.
Check out the haul in the gallery below.

it certainly looks that way, doesn’t it? btw, flat black hoods are enother retro look. i think it detracts from the car.
Check out the headlights they’ve got penciled on - those are quite different than the ones seen on the prototypes rolling around.
Overall, I like most of the add-ons, especially the 5-spoke wheels in picture 5. The aero kit with rear diffuser adds even more aggression to an already aggressive look, in my opinion. And even though that spoiler is rather large, it doesn’t seem over the top when you see it in the side view.
When I look at that car I see a guy blasting Motley Crue and doing donuts in the high school parking lot. I’m sure that’s just me though.
I actually like the idea of the ‘69 grill. I hope it makes it into production. The body kit is good but no such spoiler should ever come from the factory like the one shown.
The trunk lip spoiler from the concept was perfect. Maybe even a front lip spoiler like the ZR-1. That would look great and reduce the visual size of the front end.
The rims and the stripe package on the driver side look great. And the body kit makes it look a lot faster. And while I’m usually not for spoilers, this one looks very neat and fits in well. I like it.
This could really replace the role of the Skyline GTR R34 as there’s not a car as brutal as that in the market anymore. They should produce a right hand drive Turbo 2.0L with TONS of torque for Asia, Australia, New Zealand , Japan and Britain.
