Motive Explains Coilovers to the Masses
The guys over at Motive have a pretty cool article on coilover suspensions today. Such a technical subject may sound intimidating, but Bryan Joslin skips all the nitty-gritty on selecting spring rates to explain the general benefits and potential downfalls of a coilover system for enthusiasts.
The article is certainly a good starting point for those looking to improve the ride, handling, and fun-factor in their current rides. One reason to choose coilovers is a more pleasant ride height. Typically, coil overs give three- to four-inches of adjustability in ride height. That adjustability is useful for both show and go. Racers can adjust their cars for individual tracks, and you can add an extra inch or two of clearance once the snow starts flying.

I thought the article was just alright. But I have to say that Motive has one of the nicest site layouts I've seen in a while. While it's not particularly clean and simple, I love what they have done with the images which all look very sophisticated and definitly web 2.0. They definitly have someone who knows what they're doing in Photoshop to touch up the pics too.
